Brownsea Island

Brownsea island is one of the few places in the UK you can still see our native red squiggles. That is, of course, if you are quick enough. The Brownsea red squiggles tend to stay in the tree tops but we managed to spot 2 and I had fun running around the woods, climbing through bushes and I still have the scar from that ma-hoosive branch that attacked me…! The quieter part of Brownsea was nicer (the bit not owned by The National Trust). There we saw some native deer, 3 herons and a third squiggle that thought it was hilarious to hide whenever I looked!
